3.1 Summary
Your brief stays with us. We do not sell anyone's data. We collect only what we need to give you a quote, deliver the data you ordered, bill you and run the business. Fast Scraping LLC is the data controller for personal data about our clients and website visitors; for data we collect on your instructions we act as your processor.
3.2 Information we collect
- You provide: name, company, work email, optional phone; project brief (target sites, fields, volume, cadence); billing details (company name, billing address, tax ID, payment information handled by our payment processors, not stored by us).
- Collected automatically: pages requested, referrer and approximate country from IP, recorded in standard server logs; API usage logs (key, endpoint, timestamps, request counts, status); server logs kept 30 days.
- From third parties: information you share with us through LinkedIn, Upwork, Discord, Telegram or Calendly when you contact or book us there.
3.3 How we use it
To respond and quote; to provide, secure and bill the services; to send service communications (invoices, incident notices, documentation updates); to debug and improve the services; to comply with law. We do not run marketing campaigns against this data and do not profile individuals.
3.4 Data we collect for clients
Data collected under an engagement is processed on your documented instructions, limited to publicly accessible information, delivered to you and retained by us only as long as needed to deliver and support the engagement (API results are cached for a short period, typically up to 2 hours, then deleted; pipeline outputs are retained for the engagement plus 12 months unless you ask for earlier deletion). You are the controller of that data once delivered.
3.5 Sharing
We share personal data only with processors who help us run the business, under contracts that restrict their use of it: payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Wise and our bank), cloud and hosting providers (AWS, Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers), scheduling (Calendly), email providers, and professional advisers. We disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights. We never sell, rent or trade personal information.
3.6 Cookies
The site sets one first-party preference cookie to remember interface choices. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the site. If we add analytics, it will be cookieless and we will update this policy first. Third-party services you choose to use from our site (for example Calendly booking, Stripe checkout) set their own cookies under their own policies.
3.7 Retention
Contact-form and quote data: 24 months after last activity. Client account and billing data: the engagement plus 12 months, except invoices and tax records, which we keep for 7 years. Server logs: 30 days. API usage logs: 13 months for billing reconciliation.
3.8 Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. 3.9 Security
TLS for all data in transit, encryption at rest for backups, least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication on administrative systems, API keys stored encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM), regular access reviews, and an incident process that notifies affected clients without undue delay and within 72 hours where the law requires.
3.10 International transfers
Our infrastructure runs in the United States, the European Union and Asia-Pacific regions, and our engineering team works from Bangladesh. Where personal data leaves the EEA or UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures.
3.11 Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
3.12 Changes
We notify active clients at least 30 days before material changes take effect.
